The magic of Carson Valley comes alive during Magiko, a two-week celebration of the area’s cultural heritage and its communities, presented by the Carson Valley Visitors Authority. The second annual Magiko brings together a motocross event, an arts festival, winemakers dinner, music and movies in the park and a traditional 4th of July Celebration, “Pops In the Park,” to provide a full spectrum of activities focusing on Minden, Gardnerville, Genoa and Topaz Lake – a picturesque region located just south of Nevada’s State Capitol rich in history and within proximity to Lake Tahoe.  It is a well-balanced mix of arts and culture, entertainment and outdoor fun in the stunning Carson Valley surroundings.
