About Magiko
The magic of Carson Valley comes alive during Magiko, a two-week celebration of summer, June 19 - July 5, 2008, presented by the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Authority.
This second annual event is designed to spotlight the towns of Minden, Gardnerville and Genoa and Topaz Lake while focusing on the cultural heritage and athletic events available to visitors and locals alike for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Magiko brings together a motocross event, an arts festival, winemakers dinner, music and movies in the park and a traditional 4th of July Celebration, "Pops In the Park," to provide a full spectrum of activities focusing on the region. It is a well balanced mix of arts and culture, entertainment and outdoor fun in the stunning Carson Valley surroundings.
