| Description: | Tour of the Carson Valley Barbecue and Ice Cream Social is a historic bicycle tour for all abilities. Optional mileage routes take bicyclists along the eastern foot of Sierra Nevada Mountains on former Pioneer, Pony Express, Stagecoach and Emigrant Wagon roadways. The tour begins at Mormon Station State Park located in Genoa located at 2307 Main St. in Genoa, Nev. Ride options include a 12 mile family fun ride, 20 mile bike and hike tour or a 44 mile tour of Carson Valley. All registered bicyclists receive a Magiko welcome packet, T-shirt and water bottle. A barbecue lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. with ice cream and live entertainment. |
