In the spirit of embracing local motocross talent and the area's rich history, Nevada Motocross Development hosts "Magiko Summercross" featuring professional and amateur outdoor motocross champions from Carson Valley and northern Nevada. 

The sound of thunder rumbles through the Carson Valley as the area's most extreme motocross athletes fly high with the breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada as the backdrop.  The event track is located at the Douglas County Fairgrounds located off Highway 395, 2 miles down Pinenut Road in Gardnerville, Nev.  All riders are invited to join and racers four-years-old and up can compete in Magiko Summercross. Friday June 20 includes an open practice for riders from 5 - 10 p.m.  On Saturday June 21 gates open at 9 a.m. for the event.   Afternoon festivities feature food as well as a racer meet and greet.  A before race practice is scheduled at 3 - 5 p.m.  Racing kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday night.
