The longest days of the year mean more time to party at South Shore Lake Tahoe during Opening Days Lake Tahoe, June 20-22.

A huge block party along Hwy 50 stretching from the Heavenly Village on the California side past the Stateline casinos on the Nevada side makes the bi-state celebration an extravaganza of epic proportions.

The weekend festivities will sound off Friday night when Judi Collins brings her unique blend of interpretative folksongs and contemporary themes to Harrah's South Shore Room.

The Block Party at Stateline will be held Saturday, June 21 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. and will feature the Freestyle Moto-X Rock Show, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Northern Nevada State Finals, Flying Elvi skydive team, Harley and Hot Rod displays, live music on three stages, street performers, climbing wall, recreation expo, art show, craft fair, bounce house and food provided by Tahoe's finest restaurants.
